CHARLOTTE, NC - On October 19, 2001 Fox
18 News @ 10 (WCCB) aired a news segment promoting Lance
Jenkinson's Lighthouse I-NET Cyber Café
grand opening. Partnering with the Lighthouse
Coffee Shoppe in Waxhaw, NC, Lance Jenkinson opened a
cyber cafe with a computer lab providing Internet access
and desktop publishing capabilities to the general
public for a per hour charge or unlimited access monthly
subscription. Multi-player computer game
tournaments were held on Friday and Saturday nights.
