Jenkinson Appointed as Vice President of Technology and
Chairman of IT Solutions Facilitation & Web Design for
Opera Music Theater International

ALEXANDRIA, VA - Upon the recommendation of the
Nomination Committee, the Board of Regents of Opera
Music Theater International (OMTI) extended Lance
Jenkinson an appointment to the Non Executive Board of
Governors, Vice President of Technology, Chairman & Director, IT Solutions
Facilitation & Web design. Accepting this
appointment confirms that Lance is able to allocate
sufficient time to meet the high expectations of the
role. Registered on the Commonwealth of Virginia State
Corporation Commission Annual Report, the Non Executive
Board of Governors have the same general legal
responsibilities to the company as any other Director,
and as a whole is collectively responsible for the
success of OMTI. The Board of Governors
-
Provides entrepreneurial
leadership of the company within a framework of
prudent and effective controls which enable risk to
be assessed and managed
-
Sets OMTI's strategic
aims, ensures that the necessary financial and human
resources are in place to meet its objectives, and
reviews management performance
-
Sets the OMTI's values
and standards and ensures that its obligations to
its Board of Regents and others are understood and
met.
Lance Jenkinson responded
saying, "I am honored to be extended this appointment
and I am glad that I can give back to the music
community which continues to give me so much enjoyment
every day."
